Albums organize your job photos into named folders. Find what you need in one tap and share an entire folder with a customer or colleague as a single link. This article covers adding photos to an album, sharing albums, removing photos, and annotating album photos, all from the Zuper mobile app.
Albums are available on both active and completed jobs. You can add photos to an album at any time, regardless of job status.

Before you begin

  • Roofing accounts include six default albums. For all other account types, your admin creates albums in Settings > Modules > Jobs > Gallery Settings. The Albums tab appears in the mobile gallery as soon as at least one album exists.
  • Sharing via text message requires a Zuper Connect subscription. The Text tab is available to Zuper Connect subscribers only — contact your admin to confirm whether it is included in your plan.

Adding photos to an album

Use this method to add photos already in the job gallery to an album.
  1. Open the gallery and tap the Photos tab.
  2. Tap and hold any photo to start selecting.

  1. Tap the Add to Album icon at the bottom right of the screen. The Add to Album sheet opens, listing all available albums for this job. Add the photos to the album.

Method 2: From inside an album

Use this method when you want to capture a new photo or add a photo from the job gallery directly into a specific album.
  1. Open the gallery and tap the Albums tab.
  2. Tap the album you want to add photos to. The album detail screen opens.
  3. Tap the (+) button at the bottom right of the screen. A sub-menu appears with two options:
    • Add from Job — select from photos already in the job gallery.
    • Camera — capture a new photo directly into this album.
  4. Tap your preferred option and complete the action.

Photos added using Add from Job or Camera are automatically synced back to the job gallery. Removing a photo from an album later does not delete it from the job gallery.

Sharing an album

Album links are view-only. Recipients can browse every photo but cannot make changes. Open the sharing options from the Albums tab or from inside the album.

Method 1: Long-press from the Albums tab

  1. Open the gallery and tap the Albums tab.
  2. Tap and hold an album thumbnail. A sub-menu appears with two options: Copy Link and Share Album.
  3. Tap Share Album to open the Share Album screen, where you can send via email or text.
  4. Tap Copy Link to copy the album link directly to your clipboard without opening the share screen.

Method 2: From inside an album

  1. Open the gallery, tap the Albums tab, and tap the album you want to share. The album detail screen opens.
  2. Tap the (⋯) menu at the top of the screen. The Copy Link and Share Album options appear.
  3. Tap Share Album to open the Share Album screen or tap Copy Link to copy the link.

Copying a link is available to all users. You can copy it from two places:
  • From the Albums tab: Tap and hold an album thumbnail, then tap Copy Link from the sub-menu.
  • From inside an album: Tap the (⋯) menu at the top of the screen, then tap Copy Link.
Zuper copies the link to your device clipboard. Paste it into any messaging app to share it manually.

Removing a photo from an album

Removing a photo from an album only removes the association with the album. The photo remains in the job gallery.
  1. Open the gallery, tap the Albums tab, and tap the album that contains the photo.
  2. Tap and hold the photo you want to remove. The bottom bar changes to show the selection count, with a Share icon on the left and a Trash icon on the right.
  3. Tap the Trash icon.
  4. Confirm the removal when prompted.

You can annotate any photo inside an album the same way you annotate photos in the job gallery.
  1. Open the album and tap a photo to open it in the full-screen viewer.
  2. Use the annotation tools to draw, mark up, or highlight areas of the photo.
  3. Save your annotations.
For full annotation steps, see Mobile image annotations.
